Therapy for the Moments That Feel Too Big to Hold Alone

You’ve been holding it together for everyone else. On the outside, you look fine — but inside, something feels off. Maybe a painful experience changed you. Or maybe the weight of stress, anxiety, or grief has slowly built over time.

I work with adults who feel overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or shaped by experiences that still carry emotional weight.

[Meet Chancie →]

Hi, I’m Chancie.

I’m a trauma-trained therapist who helps adults move through trauma, overwhelm, fertility and postpartum transitions, and the complex emotional layers of modern life.

I have advanced training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders through Postpartum Support International and hold a Master Certification in Accelerated Resolution Therapy. This training allows me to support adults navigating PTSD, anxiety, stress, depression, fears and phobias, chronic pain, medical or birth trauma, stroke-related emotional changes, dyslexia-related anxiety, ADHD-related overwhelm, and other nervous-system-based challenges.

I provide in-person sessions in my Mt. Lebanon office in the South Hills of Pittsburgh, as well as virtual therapy for adults anywhere in Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Florida.

My approach is warm, grounded, and centered on understanding how experiences are stored and triggered — and helping reduce their emotional impact so they no longer interfere with your life.

My clients describe me as steady, practical, and deeply attuned to their goals. Together, we work to help you move past what’s holding you back — so you can live with more ease, purpose, and self-trust.

I work with individuals who want to stop feeling “stuck”, especially those that want to get back on track fast.

My clients include:

  • First responders, therapists, and caregivers of aging parents

  • Parents who feel stretched thin and need to regain their emotional balance

  • Adults navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, or life transitions

  • Physicians, attorneys, educators, professors, and others under high stress

  • Athletes and performers managing pressure and setbacks

You’ve worked hard to build a life you’re proud of — but something’s not right.

A Gentle, Effective Approach for Trauma Resolution

You don’t have to retell every painful detail of your story for healing to happen. This work focuses on helping the brain resolve how past experiences are stored — so emotional reactions soften naturally, without forcing insight or repeated exposure.

Much of our work focuses on:

  • Reducing emotional reactivity tied to past experiences

  • Supporting a greater sense of calm, clarity, and self-trust

  • Helping distressing memories lose their emotional charge

  • Allowing new, more adaptive responses to emerge over time

Healing isn’t about pushing harder or reliving the past — it’s about helping the brain complete what was left unfinished.

Here’s what working together looks like:

  1. Intake Session – We’ll start with an in-depth session to clarify your goals, answer your questions, and create a plan tailored to you.

  2. Your Choice of Format:

Ongoing therapy - traditional weekly or biweekly sessions to build long-term growth

Adjunct therapy - work alongside your current psychotherapist for a specific issue

Intensive sessions - multiple ART sessions in a shorter period for faster relief
