ART Therapy Sessions

For clients seeking relief from trauma, stress, anxiety, or overwhelming emotional reactions.

Some reactions feel too big for the moment — panic that comes out of nowhere, images that won’t fade, or emotional waves that hit without warning. ART helps reduce emotional reactivity and soften the impact of overwhelming experiences, without needing to retell painful details.

What to Expect

ART sessions are structured, gentle, and do not require you to share details you don’t want to. Clients often report relief within 1–5 sessions, though this varies by experiences and goals.

What This Works Well For

❋ Trauma (past or recent)
❋ Fears & Phobias
❋ Distressing images or memories
❋ Traumatic grief
❋ Anxiety (general, social, performance)
❋ Panic, overwhelm, or emotional flooding
❋ Feelings of being “triggered” without knowing why
  • "ART has helped me so much. It’s really improved my life because it was so exhausting managing that much anxiety and always wondering if and anxiety attack would happen that day.

  • "ART has allowed my client to practice skills from other modalities, such as mindful self compassion and DBT, that previously felt more difficult to practice within her parenting and relationships with others."
